He was started wrestling, when he was 16 years old. He was interested in music. He spent his ten years with playing electric bass guitar.  He was wrestling in  WWF (World Wrestling Federation) in 1980s and 90s. He was very popular wrestler in these years. After, he wresled in WCW and WWE. He got 5-time WWF Belt. He has got many awards, championships and accomplishments. He got role in Rock III in 1982. 

This was first role in a movie. In 1980s, Bollea starred in three another films. These was Bimini Code, Goldie and the Bears and No Holds Barred. In 1985, he got role in a Tv Series, The A-Team. He was married with Linda Claridge on December 18, 1983.  They have got a daughter(Brooke who was been a singer.) After, in 1990s, Bollea got role in fifteen films wich films was successful in box-office. In 2001,  he starred in  Walker, Texas Ranger. In 2009, he starred in  Little Hercules. 2011 year was Bollea's last year in his actor career.

This year, he starred Gnomeo & Juliet and China, IL.
